Hamilton himself managed to climb three places from his initial position in Formula 1 Russia 2021. This result also made the British driver managed to record his 100th career victory in F1.

The positive score made Hamilton again get the top place in the 2021 Formula 1 standings with a collection of 246.5 points. He currently has a difference of 2 points from Verstappen.

Verstappen himself has actually struggled to maintain his top position. It happened when he was able to become the second fastest driver in Russian Formula 1, despite starting the race at the bottom of the rankings.

He was able to appear consistent to overtake the 19 drivers in front of him throughout the 2021 Sochi Circuit race series. Unfortunately, the Dutch rider was still 53,271 seconds behind Hamilton.

Meanwhile, in third place in the 2021 Formula 1 standings is still occupied by Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes). Even though he only finished in 5th position at the Sochi Circuit, he was still able to maintain the top three positions in the standings.
