Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) managed to shift the top position of Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing Honda) in the 2021 Formula 1 standings. This happened after Hamilton was able to win the race at the Sochi Circuit, Russia, on Sunday, September 26, 2021.
In Russian Formula 1, Hamilton managed to become the fastest with a time of 1 hour 30 minutes 41,001 seconds. The feat put him 53,271 seconds ahead of his rival, Max Verstappen , who was in second place.
Hamilton himself managed to climb three places from his initial position in Formula 1 Russia 2021. This result also made the British driver managed to record his 100th career victory in F1.
The positive score made Hamilton again get the top place in the 2021 Formula 1 standings with a collection of 246.5 points. He currently has a difference of 2 points from Verstappen.
